The Italian government has signed a deal with Google to put the contents of two national libraries on the internet. Up to one million antiquarian books – including works by Dante, Machiavelli and Galileo – will be scanned and made available free on Google Books. Read the article on news.bbc.co.uk

Running Windows XP in Safe Mode I was able to get Google Chrome running. I then decided to see if there were some conflicts with running processes and started killing them to see what happened. Now the browser is executed successfully, but pages won’t load despite the firewall being open…
